Qualified bidders may submit bids for Bid Package #2: Tunica County School District ESSER II

HVAC Improvements - Dundee Elementary School. Project Location: Dundee, Mississippi.

Owner: Tunica County School District. Architect: Beard + Riser Architects PLLC. Submit

bids according to Instructions to Bidders. State of Mississippi procurement laws and statutes

shall govern submittal, opening, and award of bids. Project consists of air quality

improvements related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and associated ceiling

replacements, selective demolition, and other minor associated work. Bids will be

received for General Contract (all trades). Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the

bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in

compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner and delivered as follows: Bid

Date: Thursday, February 23, 2023. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m. local time. Location: Tunica

County School District Central Office, 744 School Street, Tunica MS 38676. Bids will be

thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the

amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days

after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive

informalities and irregularities. A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Tunica County

School District Central Office, 744 School Street, Tunica MS 38676 on Thursday, February

9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend. To

Work is subject to Liquidated Damages of $500 per calendar day. Bidders must be properly

licensed by the State of Mississippi under the laws governing their respective trades and be

able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate

Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance will be required of the successful Bidder.
