Qualified bidders may submit bids for the project as described in this Document. Project Identification: GLCSD ESSER HVAC Upgrades and Replacement, Leflore County, Mississippi. Owner: Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School District. Architect: Beard + Riser Architects PLLC. Submit bids according to Instructions to Bidders. Federal and State of Mississippi procurement laws and statutes shall govern submittal, opening, and award of bids. Project consists of air quality improvements related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and
associated ceiling replacements, selective demolition, and other tertiary associated work. Bids
will be received for General Contract (all trades). Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner and delivered as follows: Bid Date: September 29, 2022. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m. local time. Location: Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School District, 1901 Highway 82 West Greenwood, Mississippi 38930. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids.

Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and
irregularities.

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School District, 1901 Highway 82 West Greenwood, Mississippi 38930 on September 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend.

For Procurement and Contracting Documents, contact Plan House www.beardriserplans.com. Only complete sets of documents will be issued. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders and
suppliers. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time of 300 calendar days. Work is subject to liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day. Bidders must be properly licensed by the State of Mississippi under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
